Programme:

Session 1:    Alison Paddon, Imperial War Museum North demonstrates IWM North WW1 Loan Boxes

Session 2:    Author Event – David Long, author of Jet The Rescue Dog and other Extraordinary Stories of Animals In Wartime. David’s book is a collection of true short stories about the role animals have played in a variety of wars including the story of a donkey that acted as an ambulance during the First World War as well as a canine spy.Jet the Rescue Dog

Session 3:  Angela Rawcliffe, Learning Officer – an introduction to Archives+ and a behind-the-scenes tour

Session 4: YLG Northwest AGM
